Microsoft’s year-long free Windows 10 upgrade push ended last week. It was a mixture of troughs and crests. Redmond faced various
lawsuitsand they managed to get Windows 10 installed on around 350 million computers before the campaign ended on July 29.
Anyways, all’s well that ends well. Now, it is time to focus on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update by Microsoft. Scheduled to launch on August 2, the Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade will bring some visible changes to the operating system.
Windows Ink Workspace will be a new sight on the Windows 10 OS along with a new job assigned to the voice assistant Cortana. It will replace the traditional search after the Anniversary Update. Also, the Anniversary Upgrade will offer enhanced security features for home and enterprise customers and a better Microsoft Edge browser. Microsoft’s Windows Hello will also be introduced for apps and some improvements will be made to Windows Defender.
